Editorial & Content Policy
JICWH publishes task-specific calculators and practical material planning guides. Content is organized around decisions a homeowner or project planner can check: measuring a surface, choosing an input, allowing for losses and buying complete packages.
Specific content for specific tasks
Tools that handle related materials share a visual interface, but their geometry, product inputs and purchasing assumptions differ. We explain those differences rather than treating a single percentage as a universal installation rule. Guides use worked examples and connect to tools that perform the relevant arithmetic.
Examples and product references
Example prices, coverage rates and package sizes are illustrative, not current supplier quotations or product endorsements. Replace them with values from your own supplier. Where product instructions are linked, the manufacturer’s current instructions and applicable project requirements take priority.
Authorship and limitations
Content is published by JICWH. We do not present invented trade credentials, personal installation experience, independent certifications or fabricated customer reviews. Our guides explain planning methods; they do not certify an assembly or establish compliance with local building requirements.
Photography
Project photographs are sourced from licensed photographs on Wikimedia Commons and Flickr, with discovery through Openverse. Each displayed photograph links to its source and license. Images are illustrative and do not claim to depict work completed by JICWH. See the photography credits for attribution and resizing information.
Advertising and editorial separation
If advertising is enabled, advertisements must remain distinguishable from calculator controls, estimates and editorial links. Advertising does not change the calculation formula. The current site build does not load an advertising network or analytics script.
Changes and corrections
When calculations or explanations change, the formula and corresponding example should be checked together. To report an issue, email Bau3yvzAn6995@gmail.com with the page URL and a description of the discrepancy. For a calculation issue, include the relevant numerical inputs and the result you expected.
